Bandanna Day 2025
We’re blown away by the aroha and support shown across Aotearoa for Bandanna Day 2025.
This year, over 3,500 bandannas were sold to raise awareness and vital funds for rangatahi impacted by cancer. A huge mihi to the more than 190 fundraisers who went Red for Rangatahi; running events, wearing red, and rallying their communities to get behind the cause.
One of our biggest sponsors, Burger King, sold over 23,000 WHOPPERS in the lead-up to Bandanna Day, with $1 from every burger going directly to Canteen.
All up, the funds raised from Bandanna Day 2025 will help deliver:
- Over 2,000 therapeutic support interventions (like counselling, urgent support calls and Youth Worker check-ins)
- More than 60 peer support events where rangatahi can connect, share, and just be themselves
None of this would be possible without our incredible community of supporters, partners, and fundraisers. Whether you bought a bandanna, completed or hosted a fundraiser, donated, or helped spread the word, thank you. Your support helps ensure that rangatahi never have to face cancer alone.
